Select your encrypted backup from the automatic scan or Load manually.

Enter your backup password when prompted

iData Backup Viewer will decrypt and cache the structure locally

Navigate to any module (Messages, Photos, WhatsApp, Safari) to browse your decrypted data

Export or save any file directly to your PC

Launch iData Backup Viewer — your backups are detected automatically or Load Manually

Select your unencrypted backup from the scan list

Navigate to any module to start browsing your data

Open your backup,

Select a module from the sidebar — Messages, Photos, WhatsApp, Contacts, Call History, Safari, Notes, or Files

Browse through your data using the Right panel to navigate categories

Use the search bar to filter by name, date, or keyword

Export any item

Open the module containing the data you want to export

Select individual items or use "Select All" to choose everything

Click the Export button in the toolbar

Choose your format — PDF, CSV, or native file format

Select a destination folder on your PC and confirm — your file is saved instantly

Navigate to the Contacts module from the Data Tab.

Browse or search for the contacts you want to export

Select individual contacts or click "Select All"

Click Export and choose your format — VCF (for Apple/Google/Outlook import) or CSV (for Excel)

Choose a save location on your PC and click Save

Navigate to the Call History module from the Data Tab

Browse your complete call history — incoming, outgoing, and missed calls are listed

Select specific calls or click "Select All"

Click Export and choose CSV, PDF, HTML format

Choose a save location and confirm — your call log is saved instantly

Navigate to the Messages module from the Data Tab

Select a conversation from the left panel

Choose to export a single conversation or select multiple from the list

Click Export and choose your format — PDF or HTML or CSV

Choose a save location on your PC and confirm

Navigate to the Photos module from the Data Tab

Browse your full photo and video library organized by album

Select individual items or click "Select All" to export everything

Click Save/Export and choose a destination folder on your PC

All photos and videos are saved in their original format and quality

Navigate to the Audio module from Data Tab

Browse your audio files — voice memos, ringtones, and recordings are listed separately

Click any file to preview it

Select the files you want to save

Click Export and choose a destination folder — files are saved in their original format (M4A/AMR)

Navigate to the Notes module from the Data Tab

Browse your notes organized by folder or account

Click any note to preview its full content in the right panel

Select individual notes or click "Select All"

Click Export and choose your format — PDF or HTML

Navigate to the Calendar module from the Data Tab

Browse calendars are listed separately

Use the timeline view to locate specific events by date range

Select the events or categories you want to export

Click Export and save as .ics

Navigate to the Safari module from the Data Tab

Browse your complete browsing history sorted by date

Use the search bar to filter by URL or website name

Switch between tabs — History, Bookmarks, and Open Tabs are listed separately

click any URL to open it directly in your browser

Select items and click Export to save as CSV, HTML

Navigate to the WhatsApp module from the Data Tab

Select a contact or group conversation from the left panel

Preview the full conversation including text, photos, and voice messages

Click Export and choose your format — PDF, HTML or CSV

Choose a save location on your PC and confirm

Navigate to the WhatsApp Business module from the Data Tab

Select a contact or group conversation from the left panel

Preview the full conversation thread in the right panel

Click Export and choose your format — PDF, HTML or CSV

Choose a save location on your PC and confirm

Navigate to the Files module from the Data Tab

Browse the full backup file system organized by domain (AppDomain, MediaDomain, HomeDomain, etc.)

Expand any domain to explore its folder structure

Select the files you want to save

Click Export and choose a destination folder — files are saved in their original format

Navigate to the Documents module from the Data Tab

Browse documents organized by Pages, Word, PDF files, and more are listed separately

Select individual files or click "Select All" for a full export

Click Save and choose a destination folder on your PC as all files are saved in their original format

Press Ctrl+F or click the Search bar at the top of any module

Type a contact name, keyword, date, or phrase

Results filter instantly across the active module in real-time

Use the filter options to narrow by date range or data type

Click any result to jump directly to that record

Launch iData Backup Viewer — the main dashboard opens automatically

Select your backup from the device list on the left panel

Use the Data Tab to view modules — Messages, Photos, WhatsApp, Contacts, and more

Open your backup for the first time

The app builds a local cache of your on your PC

Close and reopen the backup at any time

Select the same backup — it loads instantly from the local cache

To reset, go to Settings → Cache → Clear Cache

Launch iData and your backups are detected and listed automatically

Click on Details Tab

The Backup Details panel shows device name, iOS version, UDID, last backup date, and file count

Check the encryption status — locked or unlocked — before opening

Select a different backup in the second window

Both instances run independently — compare data across two backups side by side
